January 23, 7 PM: A POP-UP MUSEUM EVENT!!!!
58 Bridge Street #6
White River Junction, Vermont 05001
The Tiny Museum Tour continues a pop-up museum, reading, and book signing at the Main Street Museum, a crazy collection of memorabilia and historical curiosities located in White River Junction, just down the street from the Center for Cartoon Studies. Here’s how it works: Just bring a small artifact or personal memento to the museum: you know, your old lunchbox, your favorite kids toy, your mummified cat Fluffy, etc. We'll give you a “museum card” so you can write a description of your artifact and why it’s important to you. Then it goes on display for the rest of the night. We'll create a museum of local life, and then I'll read and sign copies of my book.
February 3, 7 PM
A reading with authoR Melissa Falcon Field
47 Maple Street
Burlington, Vermont
The Karma Birdhouse is a beautiful, art-filled urban space. I'll be sharing a bill there with Madison, Wisconsin writer Melissa Falcon Field, who'll read from her debut novel What Burns Away (Sourcebooks, 2015). The event is hosted by Burlington's own Angela Palm. This will likely be my only Burlington reading, so it would be great to see my big-city friends there.
